Aberdeen… where we know them, show them, and grow them to be the Best!

Greetings Aberdeen Family!

It is with great excitement that I welcome each of you to the 2021-2022 school year at Aberdeen Elementary School, Home of the Lions. I am honored to serve as principal of Aberdeen and to collaboratively work with the staff, students, parents, and community members. Aberdeen is OUR school.  It belongs to each of us equally and this ownership brings about great pride as well as responsibility.  In finding our place and addressing our responsibilities it is important to always hold at the forefront that everything we do is to be in the best interests of our students and always be aware of things that will best make our students more successful.  Students do not achieve in a vacuum or without inspiration and support.  It is our responsibility to be the support and inspiration that our students need.

Aberdeen Elementary School faculty and staff are committed to providing a safe, caring, and challenging educational environment that promotes learning and achievement for all students. We recognize and celebrate the diverse learning styles, interests, talents, and cultures of our students and strive to offer a rich variety of meaningful learning experiences that will inspire innovative thinkers and confident learners.

Together we will continue to provide a solid education for every child at Aberdeen and continue the rich history of greatness in education.  In closing, please know that my door is always open to you. I heartily welcome your conversation and positive input throughout this year. Let us always keep our students the primary focus of our work. I look forward to celebrating our collective successes during the 2023-2024 school year.
